The completion of the Alabama High School Diploma provides the minimum graduation requirements for a student graduating from high school in Alabama. Alabama curriculum provides the academic foundation all students need to succeed in college and the workforce.

K-8 Academic Requirements
The American Academy – Alabama K-8 holds students to high academic and attendance standards to ensure success. Students are expected to earn passing grades in their courses at the same pace as a full-year, in-person student. Each student is assigned a teacher who will actively monitor progress and provide support to keep the student on track.
Failure to meet these expectations will result in withdrawal from the school. Students who are withdrawn may petition for re-enrollment, which may be granted at the school’s discretion during designated open enrollment periods as listed on the school calendar.
